Meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare of Maldives

The delegation of the Sri Lanka – Maldives Business Council (SLMLBC) had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare of Maldives on May 14, 2024. The meeting was attended by State Minister Hon. Ahmed Hassan Didi and other officials of the Ministry.

Discussions centered around various opportunities to enhance trade between Sri Lanka and Maldives. Specifically, the meeting focused on improving agricultural trade and collaboration, addressing regulatory and environmental challenges, and promoting sustainable and high-quality agricultural practices.
